Since we have been out here, we have been wanting to find a place where we could go swimming in the rivers and walk around. The whole time this beautiful place was only ten mins. away, and we had no idea. So a week ago our good friend Sarah, showed has how to get there. A few of us APX wives, went and walked around. It was so beautiful it reminded me so much of Idaho. That Sunday, Dantzelle and I decided to go with our husbands. We thought you could go swimming and jump of the cliffs, even though it has signs all over saying NO swimming. So we got all ready in our swimming clothes and went. We walked around for a while, and the boys were determined that they would find a place to go swimming. Well we did find a cool place, where the water was not moving very much and was more like a lake. The water was sick so i did not get in. But Dantz and the boys had fun swimming, until the Park Ranger came down and told them to get out. I guess they have already had 7 people die in the water this year. The under currents are so fast they just suck ya in and your gone. So it was kinda scary after the stories she told us. But it was so nice to get out of the apartments with our husbands and enjoy the beautiful nature!
